Party Checklist

4-12 weeks before the party (depending on availability)

  • Reserve your party date with Tea Cakes and Teddy Bears by sending a deposit

4-6 weeks before the party

  • Spend time with the Guest of Honor deciding on a theme from Tea Cakes and Teddy Bears

  • Make a guest list.  This is always tough if you have too many guests on your list.  Try making an informal call to your guests to check availability so you can have a better idea what numbers to expect.

  • Decide on a date and time for your party

2-3 weeks before the party

  • Send your invitations.  You may want to ask your guests to RSVP so you have and approximate number of guests to expect.

  • If Full tea is served with your package, select your Tea Menu from Tea Cakes and Teddy Bears' list.

  • Sign and return your contract if you have not done so already.

7-10 days before the party

  • Follow up with guests that have not contacted you to RSVP (please read our RSVP policy).  Tea Cakes and Teddy Bears will be calling you 5-7 days before the party for final counts.

  • Make sure you have plenty of film, videotape, and batteries.

  • Get a plastic or paper table cloth for the craft table, as well as wipes and paper towels for the children to clean up.

  • Make sure you have extra plates and forks for cake for any parents or family members who will be staying at the party.

1-2 days before the party

  • Decorate indoors (optional)

  • Stop at the grocery store for all last minute items

  • Clean and clear out space for Tea, Dress-up and Crafts.  Make sure all furniture are cleared out of the living room.  Make sure all chairs are cleared out of the dining room and the dining table is set-up.

Party Day

  • Set-up Craft Table and put wipes/paper towels nearby

  • Decorate outside (optional)

  • Get Balloons (optional)

  • Use camera or video camera to take pictures to remember the special occasion.

  • Relax, have fun and enjoy your celebration!
