Magical Castle Cake Pan Set, 32 pieces
Create the most
magical castle cake your child has ever seen! For girls, it can
become the fairy tale castle of her dreams. For boys, create a
knights castle complete with moat and drawbridge! The designs
are endless - haunted castles, candy castles, enchanted castles
and more! Simply add castle pieces to frosted layer cakes.
Decorative details can be added directly to the construction
pieces for color and flair.
The magical Castle Cake Pan Set includes: 4
small turrets with 4 roof peaks, 4 medium turrets with 4 roof
peaks, 4 large turrets with 4 roof peaks, 6 windows, 1 door, and
1 main roof. Use pieces year after year and create many magical
birthdays. By Wilton. |
Ingredients:
-
Cake batter for 2 cakes (any flavor)
-
10" round cake pans (2)
-
6" round cake pan
-
Icing, white or pastel (enough for 2 cakes)
-
Decorator icing
-
Toothpick and sheet of paper (optional)
-
Fondant for making flowers, petals, ribbons (optional)
Instructions for Princess Castle Cake:
-
Bake two 10" cake layers and one 6" round cake layer.
Remove the layers from the pan and allow them to cool for 20 minutes.
Flip cake out of pan and set aside to cool completely.
-
Check to see if the two 10" cake layers are level.
If not, trim using a cake leveler or long bread knife.
-
Place one of the 10" layer on a cake plate or covered
board. Use white frosting to frost one of the 10" cakes on its
top, then place the second square layer on top and ice the top and sides
of the cake.
-
Trim the round 6" cake so that it's level. Place it
on top of the larger frosted cake and finish frosting the top and sides.
-
Frost turrets with frosting, and
place one set at each corner of the cake to form instant turrets. For
extra sparkle and glamour liberally sprinkle with sparkle purple sprinkles. Frost top edges of regular cake cones and place
frosted turrets on to.
-
Use paper and toothpick to make 4 little flags and place on top of each
turret. Instead of paper, you can also use fondant to make flags.
-
Decorate your castle with shimmering sugars and candy;
use decorating icing to outline windows and to make flowers.
-
Optional:
If using fondant, cut out shapes of flowers, petals and
decorate the princess castle and sides.
